The Act 2 Thrive Vision

What CtK Members Are Saying

So, how do we plan to reach our community?

Initiative #1: Build a Community Center

This center attracts groups from CtK Church and the wider community of all ages for meetings, activities, and social events, so they may experience Jesus through the people and life-giving hospitality of CtK Church. (“Community Center” – refers to Café/Coffeeshop/Playground/Gathering/Conference Space)

The BIG WIN: CtK is the gathering place in the community.

So, how do we plan to reach our community?

Initiative #2: Establish Community Fun Nights

These monthly events at CtK Church or local areas promote community – neighbors meeting neighbors – in kid friendly, fun activities.  These might involve games, concerts, food trucks, cookouts and more.

The BIG WIN: Through CtK, authentic community is built and relationships with God are deepened.

So, how do we plan to reach our community?

Initiative #3: Raise Up Neighborhood Ambassadors

These ambassadors from CtK Church share the love of Jesus in their own neighborhoods, providing care, information and connection to the programs and activities of CtK Church.

The BIG WIN: Everyone in the region feels the love of Jesus through CtK.

So, how do we plan to reach our community?

Initiative #4: Develop Family Partnerships

These partnerships would exist between CtK Church families/individuals with vulnerable and marginalized students and their families in the area for mutual support, encouragement and hope for a thriving future.

The BIG WIN: Students are supported through CtK to graduate from high school.

So, why now?

CtK Church must act in this current wave of growth and change through relevance in our methods, facility, style, outreach and message.

Through these initiatives, we will see Jesus thrive in the hearts of our church, families, and surrounding communities.
